What you send us
The quote form
The form asks for your name and a phone number. Everything else is optional: an email address, the address of the job, the kind of work you need, and whatever you write in the message box.
You decide how much of that to fill in. Name and phone are the two we need to call you back. The job address is there because we template on site and it helps us tell you quickly whether the work is in range.
What is recorded with it
How you arrived at the site
When you send the form, it also records which page you were on, which website sent you here if any, and any campaign tags carried in the link you clicked. If you arrived from a Google advert, the identifier Google attaches to that click is recorded too.
This is about where enquiries come from, not about you. It tells us whether people are finding the shop through search, through an advert, or through somebody else's website.
Where it goes
An email to the shop, and a record in our job system
A quote request is sent by email to the people who run the business, using a mail delivery service called Resend. That email is the record.
A copy is also placed in the software the shop uses to manage quotes and jobs, so the enquiry does not get lost between an inbox and a worksheet.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that tells automated submissions apart from real ones. It looks at how the request behaves rather than asking you to identify traffic lights.
Measurement
Analytics and advertising
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It also carries a Meta advertising tag, which reports page views, taps on the phone number, and completed quote requests back to Facebook and Instagram so the shop can tell whether its advertising is working.
Both of those services receive information about your visit and handle it under their own privacy policies, not ours. Neither receives what you type into the form.
Phone numbers
The number you see may not be the number on the door
The phone numbers shown on this website are tracking numbers. They ring the shop at 304 Main Street exactly as the main line does, and the number you are shown may differ from the one another visitor sees.
This is how the shop can tell which calls came from the website rather than from a sign on a truck. The service records the time of the call, how long it lasted, the number you called from, and which marketing source brought you here.
Cookies
What is stored in your browser, and how to stop it
The analytics, advertising and call tracking described above store small files in your browser so that a return visit is recognised as the same visit rather than a new one.
Every browser can block or clear these, usually under privacy or site settings. Blocking them does not stop any part of this site working. You can also turn off personalised advertising in your Google account settings and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
What we do not do here
No payments, and nothing aimed at children
No payment is taken on this website and no card or bank details are ever asked for. If someone asks you for payment details through a form on a site claiming to be ours, it is not us.
This site is not directed at children, and the shop does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Your choices
Asking to see it, correct it, or have it deleted
You can ask what the shop holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Call during opening hours, write to the shop at the address below, or send the request through the contact page.
Ask and it will be dealt with. You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not affect a quote or a job already under way.
