Why it matters for glass
Glass is not a one-visit trade
Most glass work takes at least two trips. Somebody comes out and measures the opening as it actually is, the glass gets made to that measurement, and somebody comes back to install it. A shower adds a third, because it is templated after the tile is set.
That is why the distance between your house and the shop shows up in the quote whether anybody mentions it or not. Coming out to measure stops being a scheduling event when it is twenty minutes each way, and a single failed unit stops needing to be worth a special trip.
The shop is at 304 Main Street in Marble Falls, which sits near the middle of the range below rather than at one end of it.

Near the edge of it, or past it? Call the shop on (830) 693-2535 and ask. Sometimes the answer is yes, and sometimes we will tell you that somebody closer makes more sense for the size of the job. You will get a straight answer either way.
What we bring to it
The same work, wherever it is
There is no reduced version of the service for the far end of the range. Residential and commercial, one opening or a whole building, the same shop measures it, makes it and installs it.
What does change with distance is what makes sense to schedule. A small job an hour away is often worth folding in alongside other work in the same town, and we will say so rather than quote you for a trip that is mostly driving.
- Full home window replacement
- Shower enclosures and mirrors
- Fleetwood windows and doors
- Storefront, curtain wall and commercial glazing
- Single glass replacement in an existing frame
Questions
What people ask about the range
Do you charge more if I am further out?
Distance is part of what a job costs, the same as it is for any trade that has to turn up twice. What we will not do is hide it or pad it. If the drive makes a small job uneconomic, we will tell you that instead of quoting a number that assumes you will not notice.
I am not on the list. Does that mean no?
No. The list is where we go regularly, not a boundary. Call the shop on (830) 693-2535 and ask. Sometimes the answer is yes, and sometimes the honest answer is that somebody closer makes more sense for what you need.
Will you come out for one window?
Yes, and people ask this more than anything else on this page. What we will tell you honestly is when a single small job needs its own trip and what that costs, versus folding it into other work in the same area. Ask rather than assuming the answer is no.
How many visits does a job take?
Usually two. One to measure the opening as it is, and one to install what was made to that measurement. A shower enclosure is templated after the tile is set, so that one runs to three.
Where is the shop?
304 Main Street in Marble Falls, and it has been since 1964. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
